Asuka Langley cosplay — white plugsuit in a bamboo grove

Taking a plugsuit outdoors is unusual. Taking it into a bamboo forest is close to unheard of, and it produces the strongest colour relationship in any of the Evangelion sets on this site: a white suit with red trim and an orange twin-tail wig, standing in a corridor of vertical green. Ten photos, all natural light, all on location.

The location

Bamboo walkways, stone forest paths, a garden arch, wooden fences, shaded trails and a small Japanese shrine. The bamboo does something a studio cannot: the stalks give every frame strong vertical lines, and the canopy filters daylight into a soft green fill that wraps the white suit without blowing it out.

The frames

Standing beside a bamboo fence, three variations along the forest path, a portrait in the grove, a full-body frame under the garden arch, a close-up beside the trees, a stone-path standing shot, a seated frame near the shrine, and a crouch with the bamboo behind. The white Rebuild plugsuit keeps its red collar, chevron thigh detail and "02" chest marking throughout.
