Asuka Langley Cosplay — Bamboo Forest, Photo 1

Stone underfoot and dense greenery all around: Asuka Langley stands on a forest path with her body turned about three-quarters, one hand on her hip and the other arm relaxed at her side. She smiles straight into the lens, lively and friendly.

The camera sits a little above her, and the vertical frame cuts off somewhere between thigh and knee. From that slightly raised angle the light gray side sections of the suit and the red pattern across its glossy white front are easy to read, and the turn of the body adds a diagonal that keeps the pose from looking static.

Behind her, green bamboo and darker forest shade set off the orange twin tails of the wig, and the dappled light falling through the canopy leaves the white Rebuild plugsuit with its surface detail intact.
