Asuka Langley Cosplay — Bamboo Forest, Photo 3

Full length on a narrow walkway through tall bamboo, Asuka Langley faces the camera with her torso tipped to one side, one hand at her waist and the other dropped toward the opposite hip, knees slightly bent. She looks straight into the lens with a playful expression. Tall dry reed fences and horizontal bamboo rails line the path, which opens into a brighter gap far behind her.

The asymmetric stance does the work of showing the costume. With the body leaning, the light gray side panels along the waist and legs and the dark blue angular stripes on the outer thighs break up the glossy white suit, and the red interface clips sit at the base of each orange twin tail. Diffuse green light from the grove leaves faint green reflections on the white surfaces, and chunky white sneakers finish the outfit at the bottom of the frame.
