A traditional bamboo fence runs alongside Asuka Langley, who stands next to it in the white Rebuild plugsuit and orange twin-tail wig. The fence fills the background with a darker wooden texture, so the pale suit becomes the lightest shape in the picture and the eye goes to it first.

The soft green light of the Japanese garden falls on the white suit and its red accents, and the orange twin tails catch it at the top of the figure, standing out against the wood and the greenery.

The frame stays quiet: a plain standing pose rather than an action shot, with the character from Neon Genesis Evangelion placed against a garden fence.
