The second Misato Katsuragi set on this site drops the red jacket entirely. No NERV uniform, no city, no crowd: a yellow top, denim shorts, sneakers, a drink can, and a quiet mountain town on a summer afternoon. Ten photos, all in soft daylight.

Why casual works for this character

Misato spends half of Evangelion in an apartment drinking beer out of the can and refusing to act like an officer. The off-duty version is arguably more accurate to her than the jacket, and it is almost never cosplayed — which makes this set unusual in a way that has nothing to do with production value.

The location

An empty small-town street, a riverside bridge and fence, outdoor stone steps, a mountain road guardrail, a riverside railing, and a clear river. Muted backgrounds and flat daylight keep the yellow top and the long purple hair as the only saturated things in the frame.
