A2 cosplay — YoRHa Type A No.2 in blue

A2 is the deserter — an older-model YoRHa android with the long white hair and the scarred, stripped-back version of the uniform. It is the tightest of the four NieR sets on this site: ten frames, one studio, one stool, one saturated blue key light, and a long sword that stays in frame from the first photo to the last.

Working inside one setup

Locking a set to a single colour and a single prop forces the variation into posture, and that is exactly what happens here. The stool is used six different ways — seated square to camera with the sword across the thighs, side-on with a leg lifted, cross-legged with the sword resting, seated with the blade held upright in both gloved hands. Between them sit a wide-leg standing frame, a hands-on-hips shot in the cutout top and shorts, a power pose with the sword across the shoulders, and a rear view in the glossy leotard and sheer stockings.

Costume

Glossy black bodysuit with cutouts, corset and shorts variants, long gloves, thigh-high boots and heels, the long white hair, and the White Contract sword as a full-length prop.
