Juri Han cosplay — shot on location in a neon bar

Most Juri Han photography happens on a seamless backdrop. This gallery of ten photographs does the opposite and takes the Street Fighter villain into a real space: an industrial bar with exposed brick, neon signs, bar stools, a corridor and iridescent wall panels. The environment does something a studio cannot — it gives her somewhere to be, and the poses change accordingly.

Costume

The glossy black bodysuit with the strategic cutouts, matching gloves, the horn buns, and barefoot throughout — including on the bar furniture, which is exactly the kind of thing Juri would do.

How the space is used

She crouches on a chair under red light, leans on a red-lit brick wall in the corridor, sits forward at a bar table in violet-blue, balances on one leg in a doorway lit orange, and takes a wide power stance with a taunting hand raised against the brick. Two frames are close: one with a lollipop and a teasing expression in warm orange, one with blue neon and magenta split across the face. A wide-angle frame shows the whole bar with the glowing signs and stools, and the set closes with folded arms under the neon signage.

The studio counterpart

The same character shot the other way: Juri Han in the neon studio session. For more on-location work see Tifa Lockhart in Osaka and Misato Katsuragi in Akihabara.
