Two tiers of gray CRT televisions on black metal shelving surround the figure almost completely. Asuka Langley stands in front of them with both hands on her hips, legs lightly crossed and weight set back, and looks up and away with a proud, restrained look. Shot from just below eye level, the frame takes in the full length of the body.

Screen glow and studio light mix here. A soft frontal key keeps the face even, red light comes from above, and blue rises from the screens and light strips at the bottom, while the upper screens carry red reflections and white geometric patches. On the glossy suit, bright reflection lines follow the hips and torso, the green angled insert with its "02" marking, the orange molded panels and the black shoulder and hip inserts with their blue details. One eye is hidden under a black eyepatch.
