Green light floods a tall ribbed metal wall, and its vertical corrugations give the background a close, regular rhythm. In front of it, Asuka Langley leans into a very wide stance with one knee bent, one hand on her waist and the other on her thigh near the knee, torso tilted to the side.

A slightly low viewpoint takes in the whole figure, down to the smooth gray floor. Turquoise patches glow at the base of the wall, but a soft key from the front keeps her in neutral, warmer light, so the red suit and the green backdrop sit on opposite sides of the color wheel. Crisp reflections trace the hips and shoulders and pick out the round blue accents on the legs. She wears a faint smile and looks upward, the black eyepatch dark against the heavy bangs.
