Full length and shot from a little below waist height, the figure stands with legs crossed in a long, narrow stance, one hip pushed out. Asuka Langley rests one arm across her waist and lifts the other gloved hand to her chin, looking off to the side with a calm, appraising look, one eye under the black eyepatch.

Rows of gray CRT monitors on the shelves behind her show blue and greenish bands. Deep blue light from above ties the floor and the screens together and throws a long shadow, while neutral light from the front keeps the face clear. Against all that blue the red suit stands out hard, with blue reflections running along its edges and panel lines, the orange torso panels and the black stripes on the legs.
