Asuka Langley Cosplay — Red Plugsuit CRT Studio, Photo 1

Rows of gray CRT monitors on metal shelving fill the dark studio directly behind Asuka Langley, who faces the camera with both hands on her waist and her elbows pushed out. The vertical frame is cut at the upper thighs and shot from close to eye level, and her one open eye looks straight into the lens with a calm, confident expression.

Pale geometric reflections sit on the glass, and blue interface bars glow on the lower screens. Colored light and neon reflections run across the glossy red plugsuit, over the high collar, the green V-shaped chest insert, the orange molded panels and the black "02" marking on the torso. A black textured eyepatch covers one eye, and red clips hold the two high pigtails of the copper wig.

The black "02" on the chest marks the suit as the one for Evangelion Unit-02, the unit Asuka pilots.
