For the last frame of the set, the figure turns side-on to the camera and reaches one open black-gloved hand down toward the lens, while the other hand stays clenched near the shoulder like a fighter's guard. Asuka Langley holds her chin raised, and the side-swept bangs fall across one eye. The camera is slightly low and the frame ends at about the knees, so the outstretched hand comes forward and gives the picture depth.

Behind her stands a vertical corrugated metal wall washed in strong blue, with columns of blue and pale blue light along the ribs. That cool wash comes from behind while a neutral key from the front keeps the face clean. The red suit picks up bright cold highlights, and on the arm the black sleeve section with its blue graphics breaks up the red.
