The second frame on the black leather sofa, this time seated square to the camera. Yor Forger leans back between two cow-print cushions with one knee pulled up toward the lens, so a single patent thigh-high boot runs from the bottom edge of the frame almost to her chest. One forearm rests on the raised knee with a stiletto hanging point-down from the hand; the other arm is bent at the shoulder and holds the second blade level across her chest.

Perspective does most of the work. The boot is the largest object in the photograph and slightly soft, the face behind it is sharp, and the distance between the two gives the picture its depth. The red rose-print lining opens out across the seat on both sides of the leg.
