A deep red curtain fills the whole background, and Yor Forger stands square in front of it with both elbows lifted to shoulder height and her hands together at her collar. The two gold stilettos leave her fists in opposite directions — one angled down to the left, one level to the right — as if she has just drawn them.

This is the hardest stare in the set: head slightly lowered, eyes straight into the lens from under the fringe, mouth set. It is the look the Thorn Princess gives a target, not a husband.

The color is simple and it works — a black dress, pale arms and two thin gold lines against a wall of red. Elsewhere in the gallery that red only shows in the lining of the dress; here it fills the frame.
