Rei Ayanami Cosplay — Poolside Summer Garden, Photo 8

Rei Ayanami stands on the pale stone of the terrace, one hand on her hip and the other arm raised, her weight on the left leg and the right knee softly bent. Her body is turned three-quarters to the right, but her face comes straight back to the lens with a confident half-smile.

The waist and the bent leg form an S-shaped line that the raised arm finishes at the top. The minimal one-piece reads clearly against the light paving, and the accents come from the costume itself: red shoulder panels, the round red-and-black emblem on the chest and thin black lines along the sides. Behind her stand the olive tree and a stone wall.

The pose is noticeably more assured than the Rei of the series, who is written as reserved and says very little.
