One gloved hand touches the high collar, the other rests on the hip. Mercy stands side-on to the camera in a portrait that runs to about the waist, and the warm lights of the room behind her melt into soft bokeh.

With no prop in hand, the frame depends on the pose alone. Turned sideways, the fitted bodysuit becomes an outline: the orange, gold and gray contour panels printed along it follow the body from shoulder to waist, and the high ponytail of the pale golden wig stands out in silhouette. The gesture at the collar is small and deliberate, and it draws the eye to the dark neckpiece with its red central module.

Behind her, a deep green wall and red furniture set the palette for the interior half of the set.
