Held up in front of her chest, a blue stethoscope is the subject of this close portrait of face and upper torso. Mercy lifts its round white chest piece toward the side of her face while the other hand holds the metal ear tubes, and she faces the camera squarely with a calm, direct look.

The framing keeps the red-and-white winged cross emblem and the printed panels of the suit in view, so the medical instrument and the medical insignia share the same shot. Broad, soft light keeps the pattern even, with gentle shadows, and resolves both skin and the metal fittings. A white textured wall stays plain behind her.

The marking on the chest piece is readable beside her cheek, one of the few small details in the set that can be made out at this distance.
