Overwatch

Photo 6 of 10

On a painted plank floor in front of a white textured wall, Mercy sits leaning back on one hand, one knee raised and the other leg folded in. The blaster lies diagonally across the raised thigh, and she looks up and away with a soft, pensive expression.

The camera looks down a little on the full-length figure, taking in the floor around her as well as the pose. The tilt of the body and the angle of the blaster form two diagonals that keep the composition loose and unhurried. The blaster, white with black and gold details, stays secondary to the face and silhouette. Even light from the left front, soft enough to leave only faint shadows, holds the printed patterning of the suit along with natural skin tones.

It is the only full-length frame in the white studio; the two close portraits with the syringe and the stethoscope share the same wall.
