The closest frame of the set. Esdeath sits on the white sofa and raises one fist, gripping several lengths of silver chain that run diagonally across her chest to the other hand at the edge of the frame. She looks straight into the lens, head slightly tilted.

At this distance the cap reads in full detail: the white cross, the checkered band, the twisted silver cord and the small cross on the glossy visor. The light-blue fringe, the black neck scarf and the fingerless sleeve with its thumb slit are just as sharp, against the soft gray mural behind her.
