Back on the wide bed by the shoji windows, Asuka Langley sits square to the camera in white stockings, propped on her left hand behind her. Her right leg stretches out toward the lens, her left knee is drawn up and held with her right hand, and she gives the camera a playful look.

Seen from slightly above, the extended leg in its white stocking is strongly foreshortened, running from the front of the frame across the crumpled white bedding, with the red swimsuit and orange twin tails behind it. The light is the same soft shoji daylight as in the first bed frame, with the lattice windows glowing bright in the background. That frame turned the torso three-quarters to the right; this one keeps it square to the lens.

The playful look to the lens suits a character written as brash and self-assured.
