Asuka Langley Cosplay — Japanese Inn Swimsuit, Photo 1

Outside at the inn, Asuka Langley sits on the rim of a round wooden bath. The red swimsuit is paired here with white thigh-high stockings soaked up to the knee, and the orange twin tails hang loose.

The background is natural wood and a dark fence. Against those two tones the red suit, the orange wig and the white stockings all stand out clearly, and the soaked stockings are what tie the costume to the bath itself.

The bath links back to canon. In the Neon Genesis Evangelion episode “Magmadiver,” the volcano mission ends with Asuka, Shinji and Misato at a hot spring inn.
