Narrow strips of green light slip between the dark vertical boards of a half-open wooden pavilion, where a large round wooden tub holds water. Asuka Langley sits sideways on its curved rim, seen mostly from her left side, leaning back a little on both hands with one knee bent up on the edge. She looks straight at the camera with a soft, calm expression.

The daylight here is cool and diffused, coming through the gaps and open sides of the pavilion, and it traces the orange hair and the high-cut red swimsuit against the dark background. Reflections sit on the water, and black wicker chairs and a side table with a wooden lid stand further back. The vertical frame stops somewhere between hip and knee, with the camera slightly low.
