Head tilted back, eyes looking down into the lens, lips parted, Asuka Langley stands beside the Himeji Castle moat with her arms relaxed and one foot eased forward. A slightly low camera sets her against a gray-white overcast sky, with the moat water, a stone embankment, a wooden bridge and ornamental trees filling out the park behind her.

The expression is haughty, and with no prop in hand the frame reads like a pause during a walk. With little contrast in the light, the pale yellow dress reads evenly from the tied shoulder straps to the flared skirt, while the long orange twin tails fall freely. At the neck are a black velvet choker and a thin black chain with a small triangular pendant.

The downward glance and loose-falling hair give the frame a cooler, more posed air, the haughty counterpart to the smiling moat portrait earlier in the set.
