Balanced on one leg with the other kicked back, Frieren tips her head back toward the light that falls through the trees. One arm swings loosely out to the side while the other hand holds a strand of hair at her chest, and her upturned face looks happy and dreamy.

The lifted shin and the long silver ponytails make two diagonals that pull against each other, so the full-length figure seems caught mid-movement even though the pose itself is simple. Backlight turns the edges of the hair gold, and dappled sunlight scatters across the white fabric, where the skirt flares slightly around the standing leg. The dark tights and boots anchor the lower half of the figure against the stone and greenery, and the camera stays slightly below her.
