Legs crossed at the knee and again at the ankle, Samus Aran stands full length against a wall of small square mirror tiles. Her blue pumps meet on the center line of the frame, her hands rest together in front, and her head tips toward one shoulder with a soft smile into the lens.

The mosaic breaks the light into points. Violet and magenta land on the tiles as a scatter of small highlights, and the same flecks show up on the blue suit, where dark seams and printed panels cut them into geometric segments. Blue fill from one side and magenta from the other keep the figure's outline clear of the glittering wall.

The Zero Suit became a playable look in Metroid: Zero Mission in 2004; this is one of only two frames in the set shot without the blaster.
