Head tipped back toward one shoulder and lips slightly parted, Samus Aran sits centered on the sofa with her knees apart and both shoes on the carpet. One hand rests on her knee; the other drops to the grip of the blaster, low between her knees. Her gaze comes back level into the lens.

Shot at chest height, the frame is built on the sofa and the paneled wall behind it, both washed in pink and magenta. The black blaster nearly disappears into the deep shadow under the seat, so attention goes to the suit: the smooth sheen of the blue fabric, the pale printed panels and the dark seams that outline shoulders, hips and knees.

It is the last and most relaxed of the sofa frames before the set moves to the brick and shelving.
