Misato Katsuragi cosplay in a red jacket and black dress posing beside colorful retro game posters

Misato Katsuragi Cosplay — Akihabara Streets, Photo 3

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Photo 3 of 10

A narrow stairwell entrance covered in a dense collage of bright retro game and anime posters frames Misato Katsuragi from the head to about mid-thigh. She stands square to the camera, one arm curved over her head with the fingers in her purple hair, the other arm down, lips slightly parted and eyes on the lens.

The poster wall works as a pattern rather than a set of separate images, with floor markers for 4F and 3F, a metal handrail on the right and a pixel-art figure in a red cap among the prints. Against all that color, the black piping and pockets of the red jacket read as clean dark lines in the mixed light of the entrance.

The camera sits slightly below eye level, and soft light from the front leaves small highlights on the jacket.
