Two fingers held up in a V-sign right beside one eye, the other hand on her hip, and a light, playful smile: Misato Katsuragi poses in an open Akihabara plaza in front of a huge anime and mecha mural. The painted wall carries illustrated red-haired and blue-haired characters and geometric machine shapes, all many times her height.

A slightly low camera angle fits the tall facade into a vertical frame cut around the knees and sets a life-size figure against the giant artwork. The red and purple of the costume and wig pick up the saturated colors of the mural.

The rest of the pose stays simple, body facing the lens and weight shifted onto one leg, so the fingers at her eye carry the playful note of the frame. Pedestrians and a red bollard fill in the street level.
