Mercy lies half reclined on a pale floor in front of a red curtain, propped on one arm with her legs stretched out to the side. The blaster rests flat on her open palm, and she looks into the lens with a calm, even expression.

Seen from slightly above, the reclining body forms one long diagonal across the picture, from the propped shoulder down along the legs. Saturated crimson folds fill the background and cast warm color back onto the figure, while the soft frontal light keeps the panel transitions and printed geometry of the suit clear.

The relaxed pose and the composed face pull against each other, and the blaster laid flat on the palm reads as something shown rather than used.
