Without the spear, Asuka Langley settles low on the floor, one leg tucked under her and the other stretched out to the side. One hand turns a strand of hair at her shoulder, an intimate gesture, while the second rests on her foot, and she looks into the camera with a soft, calm expression. Shot from slightly above, the frame takes in the whole figure.

The light shifts to blue-violet. The backdrop brightens to lilac at the center and falls off to deep violet at the edges, and the pale floor picks up a cool tint. Small saturated accents draw the eye instead: the red clips at the base of each twin tail and the green insert at the collar.

The folded legs make a wide arc at the bottom, and the raised hand carries the line up to the face.
