Asuka Langley Cosplay — Lance of Longinus Studio, Photo 2

One long diagonal organizes the second frame. Asuka Langley sits on the floor and leans back on one hand, one knee drawn up and the other leg stretched toward the lower right corner until the frame cuts it off. Her body is turned three-quarters, but her eyes come back to the camera, which looks down from slightly above.

The intimate crimson studio light of the opening photo continues here, with a bright orange-red patch behind her and darker red toward the edges. Shadows separate the limbs from the torso, and the angle of the body puts the orange chest sections and the black and dark blue stripes on the thigh in the same view. Her face stays calm and self-assured.

The outstretched leg, the braced arm and the tilt of the shoulders carry the composition.
