Esdeath leans her shoulder against the wall at the edge of an arched niche, arms folded at her waist, and looks straight into the camera with a stern, superior calm. No prop this time — just the uniform and the stance.

The frame runs from the cap down to just above the knees, which puts the costume details front and center: the black lapels and buttons on the white double-breasted dress, the black neck scarf and armbands, the long fingerless arm sleeves and the black tail of the uniform behind her. The niche is painted with gray tree silhouettes; the rest of the wall is plain white.
