Final Fantasy VII

Photo 8 of 10

Red and magenta light floods the back bar, where shelves packed with bottles line a red textured wall with red-and-gold damask panels. In front of it Tifa Lockhart sits on a tall stool with blue upholstery, legs crossed, one hand raised by her shoulder and the other on her knee, and smiles lightly into the camera.

A key light from the front left keeps her face and white crop top evenly lit, so the top separates cleanly from the red. Shot straight on from about waist height, the frame holds the whole seated figure down to the thigh-high stockings and the red boots with white inserts. The counter at her side holds bottles, glasses and a metal shaker.

After the gym frames, the posture is relaxed and welcoming: the bartender side of the character rather than the fighter.
