Quiet Cosplay — Abandoned Railway, Photo 9

Quiet hangs out of the doorway of a rusted passenger carriage, one hand on the door frame, one boot lifted onto the step and the sniper rifle slung over her shoulder with its barrel pointing up. She looks up and away, toward the sky.

The camera is low and close to the side of the train, so the line of carriages recedes sharply behind her along a wall of green trees, under blue sky and cloud. Rust streaks and peeling ochre paint cover the metal in the foreground.

A frame that turns the whole abandoned train into a backdrop.
