Balanced on her right foot, Ryuko Matoi swings her left leg up into a high side kick, leaning her body slightly away from it, and looks down and to the side with a playful smile. The Scissor Blade in her right hand runs on a diagonal the other way, its end rising above her shoulder.

Leg and blade point in opposite directions and cross into a large X. The full-length frame, shot from a slightly low waist-level camera, keeps both the raised foot and the weapon above her shoulder in the picture. The red heel of the kicking foot ends up almost level with the red loop of the handle, a matched pair of accents.

Purple and pink studio light wraps the figure, and the latex surfaces of the glossy Senketsu costume throw it back as pinpoint reflections.
