Down on the floor, propped on one arm behind her, Asuka Langley holds a direct look into the lens, restrained and slightly defiant. The torso faces the camera and takes up the middle of the picture; the frame runs from her head to the knees and one foot, where a white heel shows behind the bent leg.

At this distance the front of the plugsuit is the main subject: the red collar, the curved red lines and dark central lozenge of the chest panel, the "02" marking, and the dark angular stripes across the hips and thighs. Long auburn strands from the twin tails fall along the chest.

Magenta smoke fills the upper left, the black glossy floor collects scattered red and blue reflections, and the edge of a red light tube runs down the right side, drawing a thin warm line along her shoulder and arm.
