9S Cosplay — Red Neon and Blue Rim Light, Photo 2

Arms spread wide, palms turned up, 9S stands square to the camera in a pool of cool blue light. The black visor blindfold covers both eyes, the silver-white fringe falls over it, and the mouth stays closed and neutral. The horizontal frame is cut at the waist and taken from chest height.

Lit from the side and from behind, with a soft fill on the face, the picture runs from electric blue to violet. A thin edge of light traces the black coat and the glossy gloves. Down the front, two rows of gold buttons run over the patterned fabric below the high collar. Behind him, the silhouette of a plant spreads across a near-black wall and frames the symmetrical gesture.

The black visor is part of the YoRHa uniform. Here it hides the eyes completely, so the open hands do the expressive work.
