Demon Slayer

Photo 10 of 10

Full-length among the trees, Inosuke stands barefoot with feet apart and both arms low, a serrated blade in each hand pointing to the ground. The boar mask is pushed up on top of the head, and the face turns aside and slightly up.

The background is a wall of repeating black trunks under rust-orange dead needles, with ash, stones and stumps on the ground. Soft daylight keeps the scene quiet; the white bandeau and navy hakama stand out against the dark forest.

The closing frame: Inosuke back in the forest.
