Low on a boulder at the river's edge, Inosuke crouches with knees spread wide in a beast-like stance. Both swords are held in reverse grip: one arm lifted out to the side, the other hand low by the knee with the blade pointing down. A confident half-smile goes straight to the camera.

Behind, the turquoise river of Saklikent Gorge runs past a rock grotto and a small waterfall. The blue ends of the wig fly out at the shoulder and echo the colour of the water and the navy hakama.
