The closest and most intimate frame of the set. Frieren leans in toward the camera with both arms stretched forward and smiles into the lens. The camera sits close and slightly below her, and a shallow depth of field turns the room behind into soft, warm tones.

At this distance the detail is in small things: straight strands of silver hair framing the face, the pointed ears partly hidden behind them, and the round red stone on the collar sitting just under the chin. The white-and-gold trim of the cape and the neckline stay secondary, present as context rather than subject, while the warm light rests on the face and the highlights in the hair.

Placed between the bottle gag and the tea-time frame, it is the one shot where she moves toward the camera instead of holding a pose for it.
