Female Titan Cosplay — Studio and Outdoor Shoot, Photo 1

Two clenched fists are held up close to the lens, and just above them the Female Titan looks straight into the camera, lips pressed shut. It is an extreme close-up at eye level, tight enough that face and hands fill almost the whole frame, with a blurred neutral background behind.

The makeup is the subject. Red titan markings made to look like exposed muscle surround the eyes and mouth, most detailed just under the eyes, with dark liner, pale blue eyes and segmented lines down the cheeks and chin. A long strand of blonde hair crosses the face. Light from the front and slightly above picks out the paint edges and the texture on the cheekbones and brow, down to where the makeup meets the bodysuit.

Fists raised by the face read as a fighting guard, the stance Annie Leonhart takes in hand-to-hand fights in Attack on Titan.
