Asuka Langley Cosplay — Latex Plugsuit Gel Studio, Photo 2

The pose here is an anime-figure stance. Asuka Langley stands turned three-quarters to the left, one hand raised behind her head and the other held at her chest, looking straight into the lens with a serious, confident expression. The picture is a vertical waist-up portrait taken from slightly below, against a saturated purple backdrop crossed by black-and-yellow and red-and-white hazard tape.

The raised arm opens negative space around the head and gives the pose the clean outline of a display figure. Close framing keeps attention on the glossy red-orange latex bodysuit, its white and black shoulder panels and blue trim, and the long red gloves, with smooth, continuous highlights running across the torso and waist panels.

The two red clips at the base of her high copper-red ponytails repeat the red of the gloves. They stand in for the neural interface clips Asuka wears throughout Neon Genesis Evangelion.
