Turned three-quarters away from the lens, A2 looks back and down over her shoulder, her expression serious and brooding. Her right arm hangs straight down with the hand on the katana's hilt, so the blade continues the line of the arm toward the floor, while her left hand rests on her shoulder. The framing runs from head to mid-thigh, shot from waist height.

Hard red-orange side light outlines the open back of the costume and the thin straps across her shoulders, and sends bright reflections across the glossy latex. The downward line of the sword and the turn of the head form two opposing diagonals.

In NieR:Automata, A2 is a YoRHa deserter, and the pose reads in that key: a wary look back, the blade kept in hand.
