Balanced on one foot with the other knee lifted to hip height, 2B raises the sword above her head. A slightly low viewpoint takes her in at full length against a plain gray seamless backdrop, so nothing behind her competes with the pose. The raised leg and the blade form two diagonals that mirror each other across the frame.

Cool, high-contrast studio light comes from the front right, with a weaker edge light from the left. It picks out the silver hilt and white tassel of the prop, the pale embroidery along the flared hem, the puffed sleeves and the heeled thigh-high boots.

The black blindfold and the silver bob with its long side-swept bangs complete 2B's familiar look from NieR:Automata.
