Quiet Cosplay — Dark Tactical Studio, Photo 4

Out of focus in the foreground, a prop handgun is held out at arm's length in a two-handed grip, and behind it Quiet stands with her torso almost frontal, shoulders set and chin slightly raised. Her eyes go a little up and off to the side rather than down the barrel, cold and collected.

The vertical medium shot runs from the upper thighs to just above her head, taken at body height with a very slight upward angle. Soft light keeps the face even against a plain backdrop. The short green glove and the long black one meet at the grip, a red cylinder sits on the olive belt among the pouches, and the black eye makeup is smeared wide.

Letting the gun go soft turns it into a shape in the foreground; the sharp detail belongs to her face.
