VOCALOID

Photo 6 of 10

Seated on the wooden floor and leaning back against the bed, Hatsune Miku faces the camera straight on and gives it a small, friendly smile. One hand is raised to the base of a twin tail beside her head, and the view from slightly above takes in the full figure.

The room fills in around her: the bed, a floor mirror, curtains and a plant. Teal light keeps the exposure even, with gentle highlights along the legs and waist. The aqua twin tails fall on both sides of her body and frame the torso, and the same stripes repeat on the bikini and the thigh-high socks.

The hand at the hair and the direct smile give the picture a relaxed, conversational feel, closer to a snapshot than to a posed portrait.
